The year 2002 proved to be quite a year for Linux User Group meetings
in Sheffield. Many new things happened which have not been tried
before. These included an install fest over at Dinnington and a
Linux seminar at Sheffield Wednesday's football ground. The
seminar has since proven to be an invaluable part of the local open
source scene and is still seen to be running once a year in the
Sheffield area.
